HAVE YOU HAD YOUR UPS SERVICED?

Did you know that it is extremely important to service a UPS regularly especially units which hold up critical loads such as file servers. Having your unit serviced will avoid possible costly damage to the UPS and will prevent downtime on networks. Since many networks rely on the correct functionality of a UPS, its importance should not be misunderstood. Often a user will discover that a UPS needs attention only once a power failure has occurred and this inevitably results in downtime. Technicians at Uptech have often arrived at sites to discover UPS running in bypass due to a fault or overload, without anybody at the organization concerned having realized it. When servicing a UPS our technicians will advise system operators on how to check that the UPS is running correctly .The following is a description of procedure followed by technicians when servicing a UPS.
