We have the facility and plenty of experience to repair and maintain virtually all UPS.

We have the facility and plenty of experience to repair and maintain virtually all UPS makes including APC, Eaton, APG, Meissner, Matla,  Mecer, Liebert, Powersaver, MLA, Accupower, MGE to name just a few.

Once technicians have been carefully selected they are trained in such a way that they fully understand the full functionality of the various types of UPS’s. Following this route technicians are able to repair units down to component level. They have many circuit diagrams at their disposal and for this reason Uptech is proud of a high repair success rate.

Because electronic repairs are of such a precise nature, a technician will often have to actually repair a unit before quoting in order that he can guarantee that the unit can definitely be repaired once the quote has been submitted. For this reason Uptech will provide you with a quotation with in 3 to 5 days after the unit has been received. Once the quote has been accepted the unit will be completed within 2 days. If a particular repair is urgent then a loan unit may be provided. Technicians will also go onsite in order to quote on repairs for larger systems.

Maintenance contracts, which include regular services (see service offer) of a UPS at varying time intervals according to the client’s requirements, are also provided.

Did you know that it is extremely important to service a UPS regularly especially units which hold up critical loads such as file servers. Having your unit serviced will avoid possible costly damage to the UPS and will prevent downtime on networks. Since many networks rely on the correct functionality of a UPS, its importance should not be misunderstood. Often a user will discover that a UPS needs attention only once a power failure has occurred and this inevitably results in downtime. Technicians at Uptech have often arrived at sites to discover UPS running in bypass due to a fault or overload, without anybody at the organization concerned having realized it. When servicing a UPS our technicians will advise system operators on how to check that the UPS is running correctly. The following is a description of procedure followed by technicians when servicing a UPS.
